I was unemployed this morning when I woke up, but ready to seize the day and look for work. So I took a shower and went to my first interview at 9:30am.

After a cup of coffee, I hired myself at 9:36am. I am now joyfully self-employed. I've given myself the title of Grand Marshall of Operations for Tim Burke Photography. It is currently a one man show.

I have started this blog so you can track my progress toward world domination. I am starting at the very bottom. So beware, you may have to subscribe to this blog for a few years and endure my terrible grammar.

I have also started this blog because my apartment is a mess and my entire digital studio is packed in the back of my car. All I have is this laptop and a wireless signal. As i said, I'm starting at the bottom.

Along the way on this blog, you find stories of a freelance photographer, projects I am working on, information I think is relevant, links to fellow freelancers, events you must attend and of course images that will make you weep. It will be well worth all of our time.
