Toluu is a new service that takes your ordinary list of RSS feeds and uses them to help you find new and exciting feeds. All you have to do is upload your feed list, and Toluu will match you up with other users that like similar feeds. You can share your feeds with your new-found friends or add the feeds they read to your list.
Toluu was talked about in a recent post by Will, but I’m going to give you an in-depth walk through of the service and show you how much you need Toluu to aid you in your quest to find the best of the best RSS feeds.
For starters, you must import your feeds in the form of an OPML file from your feed reader of choice.
Once you have uploaded your feed list, your profile becomes populated with all of your familiar feeds. You can click on any of your feeds to check out a summary of them. This feature also works when checking out new feeds, so you can get a good idea of the quality and value of the feed. If the recent posts summary wasn’t enough to convince you to add the feed, you can also check out summaries of the top posts for any feed.
In addition to looking at posts from the feed, you can also check out who is subscribing to the feed. This is one of the places on Toluu to find like minded people and discover feeds that match your interests.
As mentioned above, looking at the subscribers is one way to find new friends and new feeds, but you can also find new friends and feeds the way they intended you to by using the matches feature. Toluu matches you up with other members of the site according to how compatible your feed lists are. It makes it so easy to find new and great feeds without all of that searching and digging around the Internet.
After you add a few friends, you can recommend and share feeds with them. The social side of the site is limited to just sharing feeds, but you must keep in mind that Toluu is still in private beta and may have more features coming. Even without lots of social options, Toluu is still an amazing tool worth checking out just for the fact that it allows me to find new feeds much faster than I have in the past.

Thanks for the great walk-through Kyle! I am so glad to hear you are finding new and interesting feeds with Toluu faster than ever before. The cool thing is, as more people join the more interesting and unique feeds are available to discover. The system becomes more powerful as it grows and learns more about your interests and the interests of others.
I would point out, that another way to discover people and feeds in Toluu is through the activity page, where you can see what your contacts are up to, adding feeds, adding contacts, favoriting feeds and so on.
